How much can I afford?
It’s important to get a good idea of what you can afford in order to make a realistic property search. You may be able to afford more than you think. If you are moving from another home you will need to know how much it is worth. One of our experienced staff will be able to visit to give you a FREE No Obligation valuation. Most people need to take out a mortgage when buying a new home. Each of our offices has a representative from The Mortgage Advice Centre, part of the Harrison Murray group of companies, who will be able to give you an idea of how much you can borrow in the first instance and later arrange an appropriate mortgage to suit your needs if desired.
Searching effectively
Our Property search on the Home page enables you to find properties held by a particular branch or by county. If you are moving to another area and don’t know the names of individual towns or villages, our Map search will give you a good start. This also includes contact details for our offices. The internet provides an effective way of starting a property search and keeping an eye on the market throughout the process. Talking to our experienced staff will help you further with moving. Property details and viewings
After searching on this site you can view the further details for properties. If the property you are looking at is of interest, you can view on-line the same full details that are available in our offices. This saves you time in visiting us or calling and having to wait for the post to arrive. When you have found a property that you would like to visit you can arrange a viewing on-line or call if preferred.
