Estate agents run with colourful idea
Four caring estate agents are looking forward to painting London red (and blue, yellow, green and an array of other colours) soon to raise money for The Helping Harry Trust.
Megan Johns, James Pacey, Kate Preece and Ryan Green from our Harrison Murray Estate Agency team based on George Row in Northampton are preparing to participate in the 2017 Color Run - which takes place in Wembley Park on 11 June.
The quartet’s willingness to be covered in vibrant paint powder as they run 5k through a series of ‘Color Zones’ builds on other Harrison Murray support for 21-month-old local youngster Harry Charlesworth.
The estate agents also recently donated £500 sponsorship for a charity curry night - an event that raised a total of over £2,000.
Harry, from Newnham, suffers from cerebral palsy and a number of other complex conditions after experiencing strokes during birth meaning he has significant ongoing healthcare needs.
Residential sales negotiator Megan Johns said: “When we first heard about Harry it was a story that touched all of our hearts and we began coming up with ideas as to how we could help.
“We hatched a plan to take part in the Color Run and announced the fact to Harry himself, and his mum Hayley, when they kindly visited us recently as part of a lettings event we held.
“That came hot on the heels of the curry night, which was a huge success. And we are delighted to keep the momentum going with the run and are starting to receive some really generous sponsorship donations.”
