Our HM Lettings team is heading into 2017 with a series of re-launches showcasing its experienced and professional service for landlords and tenants and the added benefits it offers as part of The Nottingham.

VIP guests will attend special public events (all from 11am-2pm) at offices in Nottingham, Leicester and Northampton - the three cities that are home to dedicated HM Lettings teams - to help promote products and services.

  • Friday 27 January: HM Lettings, 7-9 Halford Street, Leicester, LE1 1JA. Includes an appearance by Leicester City FC’s mascot Filbert Fox
  • Friday 10 February: HM Lettings, 3 George Row, Northampton, NN1 1DF
  • Friday 10 March: HM Lettings, 5/13 Upper Parliament Street, Nottinghamshire, NG1 2BX.  Includes an appearance from Nottingham’s very own Robin Hood (aka Tim Pollard)

Exciting recent developments within HM Lettings which build on the free lettings advice offered include utilisation of an online system (Fixflo) which helps tenants open up effective lines of communication with their landlord to report any problems.

It not only helps iron out any ‘headaches’ the person renting may be experiencing, but also enables the landlord to act more quickly to help maintain what is usually their most important - and expensive - asset.

Additional reasons for landlords and tenants to utilise HM Lettings include access to The Nottingham’s wide range of offerings including full residential estate agency services, conveyancing, home insurance, financial and estate planning advice and savings products.

Head of Lettings Stephen Reade explains: “Fixflo is a fantastic way of making sure both landlord and tenant are happy and it is just one of a number of things we have done to improve our offering.

“As well as ‘front-facing’ developments like utilising Fixflo we have upgraded internal systems and databases to keep ahead of the constantly changing lettings market, and all of this whilst making sure we have remained - and will remain - extremely customer service focused.

“Keeping client needs front and centre is imperative as we are helping landlords maintain their assets and tenants to live safely and comfortably, particularly in a climate where many individuals and families are finding it hard to get on the property ladder and are forced to rent.

“Where we are different is that by being part of a large, established building society like The Nottingham we can bring in that extra bit of trust factor as well as an ‘all-under-one-roof’ offering when it comes to property and financial services and advice.
