Northants estate agents support Harry
Caring estate agents in Northamptonshire came up with a naan-tastic way of supporting a special event being held to raise money for The Helping Harry Trust.
Our Harrison Murray (HM) residential and lettings teams in Northampton, Duston and East Hunsbury decided to sponsor the curry tasting and music night to the tune of £500.
The funds give the event - which takes place at Newnham Village Hall on Saturday 28 January (7-11pm) - a great platform to go on and raise lots of cash to help 20-month-old Harry Charlesworth.
Harry, from Newnham, suffers from cerebral palsy and a number of other complex conditions after experiencing strokes during birth, meaning he has significant ongoing healthcare needs.
HM’s Northampton office estate agency manager Alan Young said: “Harry has touched all of our hearts so it is an absolute pleasure to be able to support in this way.
“It’s so easy to get carried along by and caught up in the busy world of estate agency but here at Harrison Murray it’s a really important part of our ethos to be at the heart of our local communities, especially as we are part of a large mutual building society.
“We hope our contribution gets what promises to be a cracking event off to a flier and that a lot of money is raised for The Helping Harry Trust.”
Harry’s mum Hayley Charlesworth added: “Support for Harry from local people and business has been phenomenal and Harrison Murray’s wonderful contribution is the latest example of this.
“On behalf of Harry and the rest of the family we thank them from the bottom of our hearts - estate agents often get a bad press but the people of Harrison Murray have stepped up and proved that they are extremely kind and care about the community.”
Tickets for the curry tasting night are available by calling Hayley on 07812 404982.
