Triple milestone celebrations for estate agent Tracey
When it comes to estate agency, there isn’t much Tracey Palmer hasn’t been involved with – as she celebrates an impressive 20 years in the industry.
As well as the career milestone, the mum of two is also notching up her first anniversary with Harrison Murray in March – and is gearing up for her 50th birthday later in the month too.
Having ‘fallen into’ estate agency in the mid-1980s, Tracey has worked in all aspects of the business – from a secretarial role, weekend negotiator, valuer, viewer to senior negotiatior – spending most of her two decades within the profession in the town of March, Cambridgeshire.
Tracey said: “I absolutely love this job, and the past 12 months working for Harrison Murray have been fantastic – the team here is really great.
“I thoroughly enjoy talking to people, and have a genuine interest in homes and interiors. No two days are the same. From a career I sort of fell into when a job opportunity came along at the right time – to still be enjoying my work 20 years later is a brilliant feeling.”
Tracey has helped countless people in the town achieve their goal of moving house.
However, she did take a bit of a departure from the property sector to work for the police force in the 1990s, and even took up the role of Special Constable.
“It suited me at the time,” said Tracey, whose father was a long-serving police officer in the town, “but I missed estate agency and returned in 2003.”
As an experienced estate agent, Tracey is a valued member of the Harrison Murray team.
March branch estate agency manager Nicola Roberts said: “We have a wonderful team here in March, and Tracey is a fabulous asset to it, not only for her knowledge and experience but her infectious personality and great work ethic.
“On behalf of Harrison Murray and our customers, we would like to wish Tracey continued success in her career and of course, a very happy ‘special’ birthday.”
